Education
Not only is Shawn a third generation Realtor and Seattle native, but he is also a proud third generation graduate of the University of Washington. Shawn concentrated his studies on business and law, and spent a semester at Cornell University in their prestigious architecture program prior to earning his degree in Marketing from UW in 2001.

Experience
Prior to practicing Real Estate full time, Shawn was one of the Northwest's highest producing insurance executives managing more than $500 Million in commercial and residential property. During three of his four years Shawn was number one in sales and maintained a diverse portfolio of clients including many high net-worth individuals and well known local companies like Diamond Parking. In 2006, Shawn's entrepreneurial spirit and a history of Family success in Real Estate led him to found The Filer Group - originally a premier office with Coldwell Banker Bain and now proudly affiliated with NWG Real Estate. Shawn is the Director of the Luxury Collection, NWG - A new luxury brand driven to set new standards for Real Estate marketing, service, and success.

In 2007, Seattle Magazine named Shawn the preferred Seattle Realtor for the Windermere and Laurelhurst neighborhoods and he has recently been featured in Alaska Airlines Magazine, Seattle Metropolitan Magazine, Seattle Magazine, and has a Real Estate column in the Urban Pages. Although focused on the special needs and challenges of the Luxury Market, Shawn handles transactions in all price ranges and all neighborhoods using the same attention to detail, dedication, and care. With 30 years of Seattle living, Shawn has an unbeatable combination of local knowledge and World class expertise.

Personal Interests
Shawn has a passion for boating, architecture, photography, and the active Seattle Lifestyle. Shawn lives in the heart of Madison Park with his wife Jenna, daughter Ava, and their two golden retrievers. During those rare occasions that he takes a day off, you'll find him skiing, playing basketball or tennis, or enjoying time on the boat or traveling with his Family.
